Tote Bags: Feedback
Seeking out tutor feedback for the design of my tote bag I received strong feedback around its visual aesthetic, Tutors said they like the style of the illustration and said it felt part of an emerging trend that takes inspiration from 80's style memphis design. He suggested I look at artists such as Peter Judson and George Sowden for further inspiration. In terms of its continuity with the existing campaign imagery it felt consistent in the sense that they both used large shapes, bold colour and simple textural elements to add personality to the design and felt this would be a strong concept to extend the series beyond the produce and highlighting the engaging in-store environment within the Hawarden Estate.
