Extended Practice: Series Mock-Up
With a range of mock ups developed for an extended series, I collated these into a promotional poster to explicitly articulate how these banknotes work holistically together as a series. The bold colour palettes work appropriately together with the scale of the notes to ensure each banknote is easily identifiable and features a consistent layout for seamless continuity within the series. The individual banknotes are uniquely inspired by notable examples of brutalist architecture within the united kingdom. These structures form the innovative transparent windows creating another texture component within the banknote series that will engage the audience and provide further security from duplication.
The poster Mock up is effective in presenting the series, in a similar fashion of promotional materials from the royal mint that is engaging and informative that simulates how the resolution created for the exhibition could be extended into a full series of banknotes with real life application.
