OUGD503 Collaborative Practice - In store continuity: Graphics

OUGD503 - Studio Brief 2/Collaborative Practice

In store continuity: Graphics

Continuing the theme of in-store continuity I also developed a range of further collateral to create a stronger campaign link with the target audience as this will become more familiar and rememberable if introduced into the audiences daily lives. Interacting with this collateral that is seamlessly consistent with the aesthetic and tone of voice of the social media campaign will allow the audience to relate the campaign back to the brand through the use of in-store collateral. The bold window display will catch the eye of passers by and successfully articulates the playful aesthetic and the concept of diversity within the campaign. This is reinforced through the I *illustration* gap playing off the iconic milton glaser I heart NY logo, my interpretation adopts this style playing on the diversity concept as the bums could be easily interchangeable to reflect the individual making the statement.

I continued this element of continuity further with the use of in-store graphics which would act as a second touch point to get customers to interact with the online campaign if they had not been exposed to it already on social media. These work well to demonstrate how the illustration would work in a physical context, they create a bold engaging aesthetic that will appeal to the audience and thieves in a retail context, the bring colours contrast well against the denim to ensure the graphics are eye-catching and engaging.
