OUGD505: Study Task 3 - Disobedient Objects North

The A5 flyer was difficult to create a bold and engaging aesthetic with the limitations of a greyscale colour palette. Implementing DIN felt appropriate to the politically and socially charged content of the exhibition complementing the dramatic photography to present a clearly legible and informative flyer that articulates the information effectively.

A5 FLYER

The concertina booklet uses large format exhibition imagery juxtaposed with minimal text to present a light and free flowing publication that is informative yet aesthetic engaging. I have implemented the bold use of red as a striking spot colour and used this consistently within the concertina for a synergy without, this complements the DIN typeface used within the headings which feels appropriate for the politically and socially charged content creating further synergy to the rest of the exhibition materials i.e. the A5 flyer (above).
